travel & stay

Your hotel accommodation will be taken care of for the duration of the wedding, i.e., Thursday, November 19, Friday, November 20, and Saturday, November 21. Guests will be hosted at the Taj West End, an iconic five-star heritage property located in the heart of vibrant Bangalore.

Accommodation

A landmark of old-world charm, the Taj West End is set on 20 acres of century-old gardens. A colonial-era urban sanctuary, it is a place where towering rain trees, breezy verandas, and serene courtyards create a tranquil retreat from Bangalore’s bustle. Wandering the pathways feels like stepping into a bygone era of tropical elegance.

Tourist Visa

Unless you are an Indian citizen or hold an OCI or PIO card, you will need a tourist visa to travel to India. The Government of India offers convenient e-Tourist Visas for most nationalities.

You can apply directly through the official Indian e-visa portal:

Once your application is approved (it take approx. 72 hours), you will receive an e-visa authorization letter by email. Please follow the instructions in the email and print a copy of the e-visa. You will need to present it at immigration upon arrival in India, where officials will validate your e-visa and stamp your passport.

If you have any questions while completing the visa application, please feel free to reach out to us (aruna.brendan@gmail.com). We are very happy to help.

To make your trip to Bangalore as smooth as possible, we will be coordinating airport pick-ups and drop-offs for all our guests starting November 18 through November 22. Once your flights are booked, please share your arrival and departure details with us, and we will take care of the rest.  If your travel dates are outside this window, our hospitality team will be happy to guide you with making independent arrangements.

During the wedding festivities, complimentary shuttles and car services will be arranged to transport guests staying off property to and from each event, ensuring everyone can relax and simply enjoy the celebrations.

Getting Around

onward travel

Bangalore is a well-connected Indian city with its own international airport, the Kempegowda International Airport. The airport offers regular flights to and from major hubs in the U.S., Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, making travel relatively straightforward.

As the celebration falls just before the busy Thanksgiving travel period, we recommend booking flights early to secure the best options and fares.

For assistance with flights to Bangalore — as well as onward travel within India, Asia, or beyond — you are welcome to reach out to our designated travel agent, Anita Kamath, at info@regalvoyages.com for personalized assistance.
